Pernilla and Pelle, a Swedish couple with a passion for travel and adventure, both experienced in the industry (from working in hotels, travel companies, airlines as well as educating people in service, sales & environmental management), decided to start their own travel company in Cape Town 25 years ago.

They saw the potential in South Africa as a destination when they 1996 spent a month experiencing different parts of the country. Once back in their home country they decided to take a break from their normal life and spend a season in South Africa running a small boutique hotel. They left thinking they would stay a season and now 26 years later Cape Town is still their home.

After a season running the hotel they started small, offering itineraries and tours for individual travellers and small groups seeking unique and personalized experiences. This evolved into establishing a local travel specialist company focusing in assisting travel agents, tour operators & event companies from mainly the Scandinavian market.  Their attention to detail, personalized service, and hands-on tailormade itineraries quickly set them apart from other travel companies in the region. Word of mouth spread, and their business grew steadily over the years. They expanded their offerings to include extraordinary accommodations, unique experiences such as safari tours, wine & food tours, special interest groups and groups involving culture & sports.

Their dedication to creating authentic and unforgettable experiences for their clients earned them a reputation as a leading personal destination management company (DMC) in South Africa, also for clients from all over the world. They have built strong relationships with local suppliers, guides, and communities, ensuring that their clients had access to the best that the country had to offer.

Over the years, Pernilla and Pelle’s company also became known for its social commitment to responsible tourism practices. They work closely with local communities to ensure that their tourism activities has a positive impact on the environment and the people of South Africa.
